We are a true-crime podcast that shares food and wine recommendations while telling a collection of incredible true stories. It‘s kind of like Dateline, meets 60 minutes, meets Oprah, meets Rachael Ray, only without the investigative journalism or professionalism. Join us each week as we cook, drink, and listen to each other tell real life stories of true crime, mystery, suspense, triumph, and much more! Formerly Wine, Dine, and Storytime.

When the residents of the otherwise quiet town of Broken Arrow Oklahoma awoke on July 23, 2015, they had no idea that while they slept soundly in their beds another family was being annihilated. This week we cover the Broken Arrow Murders our apologies in advance.
The dining theme this week was Oklahoma. We had finger liking French Creamy Mustard Chicken for dinner, Dark and White Chocolate Peppermint Bark Bites for dessert, and Oklahoma Cooler drinks. Our compliments to the chefs in Oklahoma. The food was A-Ok.

Murphy’s Law & Disorder
Wednesday May 10, 2023
Wednesday May 10, 2023
This week we share the story of Ed “the Skull” Murphy, a complex man whose redemption story within the gay community became a thing of pride; pun intended. The dinner and dessert theme went along with his heritage which was Italian and Irish. We had bolognese stuffed shells for dinner and Irish cream tiramisu for dessert. Two amazing dishes; made with pride.

This week we cover the story of a small town couple who begin getting death threats and mysterious packages after publishing a popular newsletter. The stalking becomes bizarre and then becomes exponentially worse after they find out who’s behind the cyberterrorism.
For dinner, we went coast to coast. We did a San Diego, California burrito stuffed with chicken and fries with a side of STREET CORN!! Clutch my pearls it was delicious. Next up was Boston Cream Pie which looks nothing like a pie but tastes amazing. For drinks, we had a Cape Codder. What’s in that you may ask? Well, it’s cranberry and vodka so there you have it.

Stirring Up Justice

Wednesday Apr 26, 2023
This week we met with a special guest, Nikki, whose mom’s death was a clear-cut case of domestic violence femicide. The man even told the 911 operator he shot her. Yet no one was ever charged with the murder. We discuss the case and her fight for justice.
Our dinner theme was based on Nikki’s childhood memories and the connections she remembered making with her mother. We had chicken stir fry and chocolate chip cookies; family favorites.

This week we cover a story of love in the time of war. This is the story of Lucy Schwob (Claude Cahun) and Suzanne Malherbe (Marcel Moore), a trans lesbian couple who used their art as weapons against the Nazi regime; and won.
The theme was France and so, of course, the meal was French. Cindy prepared a coq-au-vin with homemade French bread. We also had classic French chocolate pots de creme and a delicious Bourdeaux. Oui Oui.

This week we present a charcuterie of historical hilarities with our guest Brenda, of the Horrifying History podcast. We cover three stories that prove fact is stranger than fiction. We decided to forgo dinner in favor of a charcuterie and potato chips covered in marshmallows and chocolate. For drinks, Brenda suggested Sangria, her favorite.

Ghoul I Want Your Body...Parts
Wednesday Apr 05, 2023
Wednesday Apr 05, 2023
This week we cover a real ghoul, Michael Mastromarino. He was a former dentist who orchestrated a massive illegal scheme to harvest and sell human body parts from corpses without the consent of families or the proper medical oversight. We explore the details of his crimes, the impact on victims and their families, and the legal and ethical implications of this disturbing case.
Our meal had a New York theme. Bagel sandwiches were on the menu, along with Long Island Iced teas and New York cheesecake.

Wednesday Mar 29, 2023
This week we share the ongoing case of Adam Simjee and his girlfriend, Mikayla. They tried to help a stranded woman. Unfortunately, Adam did not survive the encounter. Was the woman part of cult in the woods or was something else going on?
Our food theme this week was southern. We had Cindy’s homemade chicken and dumplings. She’s not southern, but she sure thinks she is. We also tried Arkansas black apple pie with caramel sauce. Hoo-wee finger linkin’ good! For drinks, we shared a podcast favorite, a Whiskey Mule. Recipes are linked below.
