We are a true-crime podcast that shares food and wine recommendations while telling a collection of incredible true stories. It‘s kind of like Dateline, meets 60 minutes, meets Oprah, meets Rachael Ray, only without the investigative journalism or professionalism. Join us each week as we cook, drink, and listen to each other tell real life stories of true crime, mystery, suspense, triumph, and much more! Formerly Wine, Dine, and Storytime.

In honor of the holiday season, we’ve prepared for you a charcuterie board of stories. Dana serves up a head case of a story that takes place right here in weird New Jersey. Nydia delights us with a tasty, naughty Santa story that gets innocent children involved in a bank robbery. Cindy presents us with a smorgasbord of deliciously terrible Christmas stories. Our bellies were full with these scrumptious stories, so we opted to just share Cranberry Martinis. See you next year for Season 3 of the Crime Diner!

Lethal Doss
Wednesday Dec 07, 2022
Wednesday Dec 07, 2022
Most grandmothers are kind and loving; this grandmother was cunning and murderous. This week, Dana covers the story of the Giggling Granny: Nannie Doss, a serial killer who used lethal doses of arsenic to kill her family members for life insurance payouts.
Our food had a southern flair this week. For dinner, we had some comfort food in the form of Southern Fried Chicken with collard greens and cornbread pudding. For dessert, we had buttermilk pie. For drinks, we had lemon bourbon sweet tea. Does it get more southern than this? We don’t think so.

What Happens In The Woods Take Over
Wednesday Nov 30, 2022
Wednesday Nov 30, 2022
This week we have another podcast takeover. Brice and Jess of the “What Happens in the Woods” podcast tell us a story.
Kaylee Birdzell was a young, beautiful and much loved woman who was brutally murdered in August of 2022. A suspect was quickly found and was awaiting his arraignment when he decided to make an attempt to end his life in jail. Sadly, the details of all of this senselessness have spread far and wide across the nation, all while Kaylee’s family is grieving and searching for justice.
Please keep this family in your thoughts as they navigate the coming months.
For dinner, we decided to share her favorite meal, which was chicken Alfredo. For dessert, we had funfetti cake and for drinks we Slo-Jams Sauvignon Blanc, a favorite on this podcast.
